Modern education system in modern facilities

In order to provide the highest level of education and professional development it is needed to create comfortable educational environment. The UMTE pays special attention to building comfortable conditions for students, as well as technical support for studying process.

Modern interior, cleanliness and aesthetic design, high level of ensuring the educational process with the newest hardware are the priorities of our university. The Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics pays great attention to developing material and technical support of educational process. The classrooms are well - equipped with projectors, interactive whiteboards, wide – format screens. Innovative laboratories and computer classes with access to Internet are used. There is a special software for each specialization, the professional interests are taken into account. 
University typography ,legal clinic, training travel company, 17 computer classes, a language lab, 4 conference halls, 2 libraries, gyms and outdoor sports facilities are in use. 
Last year the educational and laboratory building Izmailovsky which is a part of a united complex with the main building of the university – the academic building Lermontovsky, was finished and fully equipped. It will be attended by college students. A new special separate dining room has already been opened.
We didn’t forget about youth creative side. Those talented students who are actively engaged in music, dancing, participating in KVN, are expected to visit the assembly hall with a spacious stage in their free time, equipped with screens, an audio system with a mixing console. Recently, some new sound and lighting equipment was purchased for it. In the building Izmailovsky a rehearsal hall has been equipped specially for students, which also has new musical equipment and a student`s photo studio is open.
The educational and hotel complex Pushkinsky is located close to historical parks, however, it is very convenient to get from it to the city center and main complex of the university. The protected area of the educational and hotel complex has classrooms and modern dormitory with everything necessary for comfortable living for students from other regions: comfortable accommodation, kitchen, laundry, cafe, etc. Wi-Fi zone is available throughout the campus. For those who love sports, the complex Pushkinsky has sports and gyms, and for active training – treadmills and an obstacle course, a multifunctional sports ground for games.
A library with a multimedia reading room is worth your attention as well. The access to the electronic catalog and full-text databases of electronic documents is possible both in the local network of the university and remotely from the library's website. There is also a library with the same facilities and a scientific reading room in the main building on Lermontovsky Avenue.
Shortly saying, all the conditions are created at the university so that the studying process may go on as efficiently and comfortably as possible, and for it to become a cozy second home for you.
