ONLINE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL «THE ECONOMY OF MODEN RUSSIA»

Considering the economic situation in the Russian Federation, as well as in the EU, and the difficulties that countries face today, the purpose of the Online International School is to provide cross-cultural communication and business news between participants, as well as introduction to business in Russia. Knowledge that can be effectively applied in real life.

  • The school will focus on current situation in Russian Economy.
  • We will discuss briefly Russian financial system, Russian tax system.
  • We will consider basic problems and opportunities of international business in Russia.
  • You will get skills to start and run a business in Russia.
  • Also, we will analyze investment climate in Russia and other countries (Serbia, Romania Bulgaria as an example), and advantages and disadvantages of Russian tax system for new startups. 
  • Each topic we discuss at school will be covered through a morning session. The morning session will be a lecture on the topic delivered by one of our instructors. 

 

The International School will be held fully offline!

Professor at the Institute of Political Science, Belgrade, Serbia. A specialist in the field of finance, international investment operations. Doctoral dissertation is devoted to Investment climate and economic growth. Author of over 80 scientific publications, including 6 monographs.

TERELADZE DAVID
Associate professor at Saint-Petersburg University of Economics Management and Technologies Candidate of Economic Sciences has more than 10 years of practical banking experience. Author of more than 30 articles on banking, finance, management.

Professor of the Department of International Finance and Accounting of UMTE. A specialist in the field of finance, dealt with the problems of institutional reforms, worked in several banks, including foreign ones, during the year he was a visiting researcher at the University of Osaka, Japan. Doctoral dissertation is devoted to Japanese reforms and economic growth. Author of over 60 scientific publications, including 3 monographs..

AFANASYEVA TATYANA
Business coach, personal development consultant.
Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the educational direction "Marketing" of UMTE.
Winner of the All-Russian competition "Best Young Teacher 2018".
Author of more than 70 articles on marketing, advertising and HR management. Winner of the contest "Young Scientist of St. Petersburg 2018".

VARLAMOV GEORGII
Associate professor, PhD in Economics
He did his Specialist’s degrees in Philology and Economics and PhD - in Economics.
His fields of interest include cross-border cooperation, internationalization of universities, innovations in education, project management.
He has experience of managing the Russian projects (e.g. within the National Priority Programme “Education”) as well as international ones – Eurofaculty-Pskov, Innovation Circle, PRODEMET, Baltic Climate and others financed by the CBSS, ENPI, NORDEN and other programmes.
He has more than 20 papers on innovations, internationalization of universities, cross-border cooperation etc.

KHROMOVA ANNA
Senior Lecturer at the Department of International Finance and Accounting of UMTE.
Specialist in the field of intercultural communication, as well as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language. Working on her Ph.D. thesis in the field of socio-cultural adaptation of young people.

Kuzmina Ksenia
MPA, PHD in Linguistics, Associate Professor, Department of Management and Public Administration, UMTE, a certified L&D expert in evaluating learning and development impact (ATD, USA), specializes in strategic and project management.
