On May 19th, 2023 the delegation of Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics visited the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.
During the visit the Rector of Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics Oleg Smeshko and the Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs Anna Rumyantseva discussed with the administration of the University the prospects of bilateral cooperation in education and research, agreed to develop academic exchange programs and got acquainted with the university infrastructure.
This meeting was long-awaited for the parties, as the negotiations between the universities began in the beginning of this year. And now, finally, after several months, the representatives of the universities managed to meet and get personally acquainted.
Online has opened up many unique opportunities for us, but nothing can replace the value of face-to-face meetings.
