The methodology of history cognition was discussed at a conference with foreign colleagues

Nikolay Pryakhin, representative of Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics, took part in the National Conference with international participation, organized by the universities of Donetsk.

On April 19, 2024, the X National Scientific Conference with international participation “Methodology of history cognition: objective mechanisms of development versus political projectivism" was held at Donetsk National Technical University in an online format, dedicated to understanding the contradictions and patterns of modern society development.

The relevance of the issues that aroused the keen interest of the conference participants is due to the urgent need to understand the role of objective and subjective factors that determine the direction of historical dynamics at the present stage of society development. The conference was attended by representatives of the universities of the Donetsk People's Republic, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Volgograd, Belgorod, Melitopol.

Nikolay Pryakhin, Associate Professor of the Department of Media Communications and Advertising, PhD, delivered a welcoming speech from our university. He also spoke at the plenary session with a report on his meetings with famous politicians and statesmen of the period of the Soviet Union collapse: “Meetings with Interesting People: About Time and Country”.

The conference was held at a high scientific level and expressed the sincere interest of the participants in understanding objective issues.
