Our Graduates – The Future of Our Country!

The University held a graduation ceremony for students majoring in Economics and Financial Management. A total of 66 future economists and financial managers received their bachelor's and master's degrees.

Present at the official ceremony were Anna Rumyantseva, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, Natalia Ionova, Director of the Institute of Economics and Finance, Elena Sintsova, Head of the Department of International Finance and Accounting, as well as graduates, parents, and faculty members.

The solemn diploma awarding ceremony for students of the Institute of Economics and Finance was opened by Anna Rumyantseva: «The awarding of diplomas to university graduates is a significant event for every student, as it marks not only the completion of one stage but also the beginning of a new life. The profession of an economist today, in these challenging times for our country, is one of great importance. You face a difficult task—shaping the country’s investment resources, developing the financial market, and enhancing the competitiveness of the Russian economy. I wish you success and professional fulfillment».

Natalia Ionova, Director of the Institute of Economics and Finance, addressed the graduates with words of encouragement, congratulating the new graduates on their new status: «During your time here, we have experienced much together: a pandemic, distance learning, sanctions. May these difficulties be the greatest you face in your lives, and may only success and prosperity follow. I wish you to achieve all your goals, never settle for what you have accomplished, and always believe in yourselves. I hope to hear your names in the future as leaders of major companies and enterprises in our country or as successful business owners».

Elena Sintsova, Head of the Department of International Finance and Accounting, joined in with warm wishes for the graduates: «Congratulations on receiving your coveted and well-deserved higher education diploma. We are proud of you! I urge you never to stop at what you have achieved and invite you to continue your studies at our university in master's programs. Graduate education is a unique opportunity to enhance your professional competence and expand your professional network, as among the consultants and instructors in the program are top management from banking businesses, heads of major industrial enterprises in the city, professors, and doctors of science».

At the end of the event, graduates expressed their gratitude to the faculty for their hard work, patience, and understanding, wishing their beloved Department of International Finance and Accounting prosperity and success.
