From July 26 to 28, the festival of young multi-national art »took place in Sudak, Crimea, where students from UMTE participated.
The «Tavrida.Art» festival is a truly bright, unique, and large-scale event! The number of participants at the sixth «Tavrida.Art» exceeded 60,000 people, according to the press service of the festival’s art cluster. Its program included 750 events in various formats – participants were treated to various shows, concerts, theatrical performances, creative meetings, ecological workshops, and sporting events. Students from all regions of our country were able to hear inspiring words from Sergey Kiriyenko, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.
Among them were students from our university: Ekaterina Ivanova, Viktoria Mineeva, and Polina Sirik, who not only visited Crimea but also appreciated the cultural diversity of the peoples living in Russia.
Sharing her impressions, Polina Sirik, a student at the Institute of Language Communication and Psychology and the leader of the dance team SODA, said:
«From July 26 to 28, the festival of young multi-national art «Tavrida.Art» took place, where we participated in the «Pro» category and represented our university in the art quarter „Universities of Russia“»
The festival featured many vibrant events, such as a tribute to the works of Alexandra Pakhmutova, the «Soul» shows from the «Tavrida.Art» music label, a patriotic program «My Home» aimed at supporting the Belgorod region, and much more.
We attended numerous masterclasses, participated in the art games «Universities of Russia», listened to our favorite artists, danced a lot, and simply enjoyed the moments by the Black Sea coast!
Furthermore, one of the most spectacular events of the festival was the Art Procession. All festival participants gathered in long themed columns to showcase the traditions of their regions. The event concluded with a vibrant performance and a photo of the friendly family of the Art Cluster «Tavridain» which I participated and appeared on the festival's main stage!
Thank you to the university for the wonderful opportunity to visit such a vibrant place as «Tavrida.Art». Our team will strive to return to the festival again!»
The festival has already passed, but the memories will last a long time!
