A true celebration of youth creativity took place at the Pushkinsky Educational and Hotel Complex – the talent show "A Moment of Glory."
Events that allow students to showcase their talents have traditionally been held at the training-hotel complex «Pushkinsky» and brought together the most talented and creative youth. This year, the celebration once again united the most active and talented students of the university living in the complex, studying in various fields, and having a wide range of hobbies. For some students, it was their first time stepping on stage, while for others, performing in front of an audience had long become a familiar experience. However, they were all united by one desire – to proudly present their talent.
"A Moment of Glory" is an excellent way to engage students in active creative participation in the life of "Pushkinsky," support their initiatives, identify bright talents, and contribute to their aesthetic education. Moreover, such events serve as a great platform for young people to meet, communicate, and unite.
The hosts of the evening were Dmitry Alekseev and Taisiya Goryainova, who gave the first floor to Svetlana Kolomoyets, the Deputy Manager of "Pushkinsky" for Educational Work.
The show began with a spectacular performance by Ulyana Pyankina and Alena Shutilova, who sang the song "If Love Lives in the Heart." After that various students took the stage with their acts. It turned out that our students not only enjoy cheerful songs and modern dances but also appreciate the immortal classics of Russian literature. Viktor Melnikov recited Mikhail Lermontov's poem "The Death of the Poet," Anastasia Bolshakova performed Tatiana's letter from Alexander Pushkin's "Eugene Onegin," and Khloé Obnosova recited Dmitry Merezhkovsky's poem "Sakya-Muni."
Ulyana Pyankina delighted the audience once again by singing the song "I'm Waiting for a Hero," while Taisiya Goryainova performed the song "Lost Paradise" by the band "Aria." The most energetic and lively students enthusiastically showcased their dance skills.
However, the funniest and most memorable act was a skit performed by the students about "their own James Bond" from "Pushkinsky". Despite finding himself in absurd situations, he and his colleagues managed to locate the director of student events, who had been cunningly "kidnapped" by the host, "jealous" of her success. Cast: Marina Fokina, Taisiya Goryainova, Yaroslav Blagodarev, Sabina Smirnova, Maxim Andrusyak, Sergey Sychev, Nastya Bolshakova.
The success of this evening was ensured by every single participant without exception. In other words, all together, they performed the farewell song "The Lost Song" at the stage. We are confident that the brilliance of the performances and the positive atmosphere will only gain momentum, and in the next academic year, new talents will take the stage at "Pushkinsky" to experience their moment of glory.
