Maria Koryagina, a student from the Institute of Language Communication and Psychology, got to the final and participated in four competition tests.
The event gathered 100 finalists from 46 regions of Russia and professional experts, including finalists of the "Teacher of the Year 2024" contest.
Maria gained valuable experiences and insights that will surely enrich her life journey.
The competitive tests for finalists included self-presentation, workshop instigation, lesson planning, presentation of class extracurricular activity “Important Conversations” and solving case studies.
In the overall ranking Maria finished in the 4th place which was an outstanding result.
Here’s what Maria said about participation in the contest:
“I didn’t win the competition, but I’m not the least bit upset. I’m happy about the people I’ve got along with during these four harsh days. We’ve been supporting and admired each other and learned new things together. This incredible contest has brought together pedagogy students from all over the country. I’m truly happy for the winners and laureates in every category because they deserve it like no one else! I’ve felt so inspired thanks to these people that now I’m going to continue improving myself, participating in all kinds of events and growing both personally and professionally. Next year I want to try it again in the company of like-minded people who are passionate about their work which creates an atmosphere of co-operation and mutual support rather than competition.”
Congratulations to Maria, and wishes of further success!
