«Ambassadors of Kindness» sharing their experience

Anna Bordanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Linguistics and Translation Studies, participated in the «Intensive Training Course for Volunteer Activity Organizers».

The «Intensive Training Course for Volunteer Activity Organizer» was held at the Youth Home of the Vasileostrovsky District from November 26 to 28 in accordance with «Ambassadors of Kindness» programme aimed at promoting volunteer activities. Saint-Petersburg UMTE was represented by Anna Bordanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Linguistics and Translation Studies.

Course enabled participants to expand interpersonal communication skills, learn how to attract, motivate and select volunteers for their project teams, handle crisis situations and prevent emotional burnout. They also gained experience in creating volunteer projects and working with Dobro.ru platform. All the valuable course materials and insights from colleagues on project implementation will be available to all representatives of our university’s volunteer movement.
