The event brought together representatives of leading universities, educational institutions, and research organizations from different countries.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Global Connections. Collective Growth.” About 100 participants from various countries gathered to discuss key aspects of international cooperation and joint development. The conference addresses topical issues of international academic and research activities, the impact of education systems on sustainable development, digital transformation in education and science, as well as social and cultural aspects of globalization.

At the plenary session, a speech was delivered by Oleg Smeshko, Rector of the Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics. Anna Rumyantseva, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, took part in a panel discussion. The speakers highlighted the internationalization of Russian education, key trends, existing limitations, and promising pathways for the development of international cooperation in education and science. Special attention was paid to the experience of internationalization at the University, its educational programs, joint research projects, and prospects for international cooperation with foreign universities.

During the conference, a number of working meetings and negotiations were held with representatives of foreign universities. As a result of this productive work, cooperation agreements were signed with several international universities, including SEGi University (Malaysia) and the International University Malaysia. These agreements are aimed at developing joint educational programs, research projects, academic exchanges, and strengthening long-term partnerships.

In addition, agreements were reached on signing cooperation agreements with Mila University (Malaysia), Nilai University (Malaysia), Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (India), and several other universities.
