New meetings and new agreements within the framework of the International Educational Alliance “Business Eurasia”

From April 12 to April 13, 2024, another event of the members of the International Educational Alliance “Business Eurasia” took place at Odlar Yurdu University (Baku, Azerbaijan), in which the official delegation of the university, consisting of Rector Oleg Smeshko and Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs Anna Rumyantseva, took the most active part

An international team of experts of the International Educational Alliance “Business Eurasia” discussed the prospects of green business education in Eurasia, as well as the issues of developing new standards and training professionals capable of conducting business with due regard to environmental conservation, creation of favorable social conditions, fair treatment of employees and customers and proper corporate governance.

The round table became one of the venues of the International Scientific Conference “Smart Environment and Green Technologies”, the main purpose of which was to provide expert discussion of advanced “green” technologies and “smart” environmental solutions, as well as presentation of the best international practices of their use by modern companies. The scientific committee of the conference included more than 40 scientists from 20 countries, and following the results of the event, scientific articles are expected to be published in the “Springer” collection.

Representatives of UMTE also contributed to the conference work: in one of the sections Anna Rumyantseva presented the results of her scientific research on the topic “Corporate sustainability development financing as a factor in achieving the sustainable development goals”.

Currently, UMTE together with Odlar Yurdu University are finalizing the agreements reached during the visit and plan to conclude a partnership agreement on cooperation in the field of education and science.
