International academic mobility programs were presented to the UMTE students

On February 21, 2024, an information seminar on academic mobility programs was held for students interested in internships abroad.

Every semester, the UMTE International Office organizes a series of information events for university students to present academic mobility programs, get acquainted with foreign partner universities, and advise on organizational mobility procedures. Students who have already been lucky enough to gain experience studying abroad at a partner university take an active part in such events.

The meeting started with the presentation of up-to-date information about the opportunities and prospective partnerships of the university for an academic internship abroad. The representatives of the UMTE International Office introduced students to the requirements for participants, procedures and deadlines for processing documents, answered organizational and substantive questions about preparation and participation in the international academic mobility program.

The presentations of students who took part in semester mobility programs at foreign universities aroused great interest and numerous questions. Ksenia Krasiuk, a student of the Institute of Language Communications and Psychology, who had an internship in Shanghai, Anastasia Aleshechkina, a student of the Institute of Creative Industries and Hospitality, who studied in Macao, a special administrative region of China, and Vladislav Karaulov, a master's student of the Institute of Economics and Finance, who studied in Vietnam, shared their experience of participation in the internship.

The students presented the universities where they studied, told about the peculiarities of staying abroad and interaction with representatives of other cultures, gave practical recommendations on choosing of academic courses, organizational issues of obtaining visas, international flights, choosing of accommodation, etc.
