UMTE is a participant of the Eurasia Higher Education Summit – EURIE

Delegation of St. Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics takes part in the Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE).

The international event attracts more and more participants every year. More than 2,000 participants from 55 countries are planning to attend the summit in 2024. This year, the Eurasia Higher Education Summit is taking place in Istanbul (Turkey). From February 26 to February 29 2024, this international platform will bring together politicians, representatives of the university community, and experts on the internationalization of higher education from the Eurasian region. The summit includes a conference, round tables, partner network meetings, platforms for expert discussion of topical issues of higher education, as well as an educational exhibition for potential applicants.

The St. Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics was represented at the summit by Oleg Smeshko, Rector of UMTE, and Anna Rumyantseva, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs.

On February 28, the university delegation took part in the meeting of the international partner network “Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS)”, where the opportunities for new partners in the field of education and science were presented.

On February 29, a round table “Business Education in Eurasia” will be held, in the preparation of which our university took the most active part.
