UMTE expands cooperation with universities in Thailand.
In May 2023 a delegation from St. Petersburg University of Technology and Economics visited Thailand in order to expand cooperation with universities in Thailand. During the visit the delegation had a meeting with representatives of the Kasem Bundit University.
The first step in establishing a partnership was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the universities.
As part of cooperation, the parties plan to develop student mobility programs, academic staff exchange programs, short-term programs, as well as organization of joint activities and joint research.
The universities expect that the first participants of the academic mobility program will be able to come to study in Bangkok and St. Petersburg at the beginning of the next academic year.
Hope to be able to host their first students under the academic mobility program as early as next academic year.
